Natalie, Owner & Certified Groomer
Fear Free Certified Professional, Certified Dog Groomer. Initially, I set out to become a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist. However grooming had different plans for me. I began my grooming apprenticeship in 2005, leading to certification. After supervising teams of groomers across the country for many years, I purchased Hair of the Dog in 2021. Many of our customers have been coming here since Hair of the Dog opened, and it was important to make sure those customers had a salon they could count on. I also wanted to create a salon that catered to the needs of the pet, as well as us, the groomers. Our business plan prioritizes progressive ideas surrounding labor issues, as well as the overall experience of the dogs in our care. We want to create an experience for the dogs that caters to their specific needs, thus setting us apart in the industry. Hair of the Dog has always been a joyful place for the dogs, and I strive to keep it that way. I specialize in grooming puppies, elderly dogs, and special needs dogs.
Favorite Breeds: I love a dog with a job. Watching a dog do what they were bred to do is very awe inspiring.
Hobbies: Powerlifting, painting, ethology, candle making, traveling, crafting.

Ryan, Reception Manager & Grooming Assistant
Ryan began his career at Hair of the Dog in 2021.  Customers can expect long conversations about how great their dog is! Ryan is an absolute dog enthusiast, and stays dedicated to providing the best customer service possible. He is currently working on his Fear Free Certification.
Hobbies: Bodybuilding, dog rescue, freehand artist, B-movie horror buff, leather jacket restorer.
